hey - thanks for the nice words on the blog - it really means a lot. And my 15 subscribers! Thanks for tuning in! This blog is sort of my faithful companion out here on the steppes. Sorry i've been neglecting - it's been a really blogworthy two days- plus i got to meet the guy who inspired this whole afghan adventure!... all the details very very soon. plus pictures.

Heya Darling, I just heard you on the news! You sounded brilliant. I got myself up uber early just for the listen in. You sounded quite the foreign reporter, which I couldn't help grinning to myself in terms of some of the things you wrote in your last email. Ok, I really have to go as I've got figure modeling this morning but I'll write you proper when I get home again.
